Careers
Work on neuromorphic computing infrastructure
We're a small, focused team building the compiler and runtime that will define how engineers deploy models on neuromorphic silicon. Santa Clara, CA. Competitive comp. Serious engineering problems.

Compiler Engineer — Optimization Passes
Design and implement optimization passes in the NMC compiler pipeline targeting spiking neural network workloads. You'll work across dead-spike elimination, temporal op fusion, and threshold calibration passes, and contribute to the compiler IR design.
- 5+ years in compiler engineering (LLVM, MLIR, or similar)
- Strong understanding of graph-level optimization and IR transformations
- Experience with ML compiler backends preferred (TVM, XLA, TensorRT)
- Interest in neuromorphic computing and spiking neural networks
Embedded Systems Engineer — Edge Runtime
Own the C99 edge runtime, HAL shim interface, and eval kit firmware. You'll bring up new neuromorphic targets, write production-quality embedded C with strict memory and latency constraints, and work directly with silicon partners.
- 5+ years in embedded systems engineering (C99, bare-metal, RTOS)
- Experience writing hardware abstraction layers for MCU/SoC platforms
- Background in power-constrained systems design
- ARM Cortex-M / RISC-V experience a plus
ML Research Engineer — SNN Architectures
Work alongside our research team on SNN architectures, spike encoding methods, and online learning algorithms. Turn research results into compiler-accessible representations and SDK features. Publish at top venues.
- PhD or strong research background in ML / neuroscience / neuromorphic computing
- PyTorch fluency; experience with spiking neural network frameworks (SpikingJelly, Norse) a plus
- Track record of conference publications
- Interest in translating research into production tooling
Developer Advocate
Represent Neurmorph in the edge ML and embedded systems community. Write tutorials, run workshops, gather pilot user feedback, and drive product decisions based on developer pain points. Deep technical empathy required.
- Background in embedded ML, embedded systems, or edge inference engineering
- Experience writing technical content (blog posts, tutorials, talks)
- Track record building developer community around a technical platform
- Genuine enthusiasm for pushing performance limits in constrained environments
